Due to error of calculations, the organizers of Derana Veet Miss Sri Lanka, before this, they crowned Derana Veet Miss Sri Lanka 2012 to Vinu Udani Siriwardena, but after realization of their mistake, they improve their decision and announced the right contestant Sumudu Prasadini as Derana Veet Miss Sri Lanka 2012 along with Vinu Siriwardana, as two winners of Derana Veet Miss Sri Lanka 2012.
Now, Sumudu Prasadini will represent Sri Lanka in Miss World 2012 beauty contest which is the 62nd edition of Miss World beauty contest, and it will held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on 18th August, 2012.
Vinu Siriwardana has been crowned
Derana Veet Miss Sri Lanka 2012 at the grand finale of Derana Veet Miss Sri Lanka 2012 in Colombo, Sri Lanka on 4th April, 2012.
