Miss England -2011: Alize Lily Mounter (Miss Everymodel )
The Miss England competition is an annual beauty pageant targeted at young females aged 17–24 years living in England. The Miss England competition is promoted to thousands of women around England in local media by a series of area heats held around the country.
Miss England director Angie Beasley explains how Miss England can actually be Welsh. Miss England is a multicultural competition. Contestants must simply hold a British passport and reside in England at the time of the contest. Alize Lily Mounter is from Kensington, London, but originally hails from Wales, where she was born to a British father and Hungarian mother. That’s right, she wasn’t born in England. Alize Lily fulfilled the criteria.

Miss Everymodel Alize Lily Mounter from Kensington, London, surpassed 63 beauties to be crowned Miss England 2011 at the national finale that was held at the Birmingham Metropole Hotel in Birmingham on July 19, 2011.
Alize was the favourite to win the competition since the lineup was announced, runner up was Miss London Risskat Bade. Second and third place went to Miss London, Rissikat Bade (on the left here above) and Miss Rugby, Rebecca Morton (on the right). It was a close run thing but Alize’s talents for journalism as well as her beauty and general loveliness won out.
Alize, who is 1.81m tall, won top points in three rounds, including modeling sportswear, evening gown and a red-white national costume especially created for the .

Alize went to Bryn Celynnog Comprehensive School in Beddau, near Pontypridd, where she was a star pupil. She was a finalist in Miss Wales last year after being crowned Miss Rhondda Cynon Taf. Alize was also a contestant on the sixth series of reality TV show Britain’s Next Top Model. She has worked for Abercrombie and Fitch and for world-renowned Welsh fashion designer Julien Macdonald. Alize fits her beauty and modelling work around her journalism degree at Roehampton University.
The 22-year-old Welsh-born model will paint England in Miss World 2011 Pageant.
Alize said: “I am so excited, I can’t believe it. I never expected to win. Although I’m from Wales I was allowed to enter on residency grounds because I’ve lived in London for a while now. I am proud to be representing England – but everyone who knows me will tell you that deep down I am very Welsh.”
