It is the first time in 30 years into the international beauty contest, an Ecuadorian representative wins the crown of Miss World Latin America.
Estefani Chalco has been crowned Miss World Latin America 2011 by Carolina Lemus (Miss World Latin America 2010) at the Convention Center Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, on the last Saturday night, 4th June, 2011.
